View attachment 6348 Wondering if anyone has replaced their monsoon speakers lately, I have a 98V6 with 6 speakers. The sail panel has blown and also the cargo. Who has the best prices, GM direct are expensive. I see the sail panel speakers on E-bay that fit, but not the cargo, wondering who is the best bet to buy from. Not going to replace the whole system at this time because I don't have enough $'s to put into it to make it worthwhile. Also, unrelated to audio, I just ordered a flowmaster 80 series and wonder if anyone installed one on a V6 and noticed any power increase? Thanks for any input..........

search ebay for:

98 Camaro LS1 5.7L REAR CARGO TRIM N SPEAKERS monsoon

98 Camaro LS1 5.7L REAR MONSOON RADIO SPEAKERS GM

Firebird Rear Speakers Delco Monsoon

I would have put the links for you, but the last few times I've posted ebay links they get broke.

I did a lot of surfing and ended up at gmpartsdirect.com. The difference in price was unbeliveable compared to the Pontiac dealer. You can get the speakers from them. They are genuine GM parts and brand new. I just got the speakers, they took about a week to arrive. Check them out if you haven't bought the ones from e-bay. I paid $33 for the rear passenger sail speaker and $17 for one small cargo replacement, the larger one is $27. They also sent me a diagram of the system set up which is handy. See ya there...............

I was ok with the shipping, it was under $9, which I thought was ok. I didn't bother with the aftermarket speakers because I don't have enough money to make it worth my while right now. I had transmission work done and bought a flowmaster exhaust and hoping to add some cold air to the car, so they were higher on the agenda. I hope to eventually trade it in for a TA, but the I'm happy with it now, so I'll keep it for another while. Thanks for the link, will be looking for other bits and pieces and will check it out. See ya there, Wendy

I went to GMDirect.com and I can't find any speakers for my TA. Maybe they don't list them anymore. My Subs are dead and I would like to find new ones to replace them with. Anyone know of an aftermarket subs that would fit in that space.

Thanks
