Not bad at all for the money, but there's some serious work to be done. Some guys may envy you that, but I'll just wish you the best. Be sure to keep us updated. Congrats on the find and the acquisition - it has the potential to be very special indeed.

Thanks all! Its gonna be a slow project build with my son. I will be sure to post pictures along the way. I am a former heavy bodyman/painter so its all getting done by me. Execpt for the rear damage, it needs to go on a frame machine to re-align the body, then weld braces all over before I cut out everything. Being an auto adjuster now, I know many shops that will hook me up!
Oh, and all the missing parts come with it! Trunk is full of parts too including a new gas tank.

Congrats on the new purchase. Great so see another bird being brought back to life.

That right there makes it all worth the price of admission! Yes, there's a lot of work ahead of you but the deal was sweet!

Car's been sitting in a garage in Brooklyn for 18 years. Hasnt run since then. But it spins freely. Its not the orig 400, but its a 74 400 and checked the trans today, its a M21. Gonna try to borrow a carb from someone to try to get it running just so it can move by itself for now while I gather up new sheet metal. The floors only needs front patches! Rear pans and under the rear seat are great!
Plans are:
Mild 400, nothing too crazy
Keepin the M21
3:23 or 3:73's out back
4 wheel disc brakes
Really like to try to put a rack and pinion in, but we'll see
Color: Black baby! red interior with HO red stripe along the side.

I like the old-fashioned frame repair. we use Car-o-liner in my auto-collision classes. chains and braces, good ole mathematics to find measurements. .. the good stuff. lol
