I replaced my clear license plate light with a red bulb. I think it looks cool. It matches every other light in the back. I also replace my interrior bulbs with red but I couldn't get a good picture. What do ya think?

Enjoy the ticket when you get it. At least here in Mi. That's illegal. Friend of mine had the stock whites and some blue 1's above the plate, and got pulled over for it.

Dont the law suck? Its hit or miss here, they get on you for thos blue turn signal lamps or blue reverse lamps (when they see you) so I'd bet they get you for the red light, and an improperly lit plate.

It does look good though.

Yeah it looks good, but like Mark said, dont come to MI with it like that, you wont make it more than 50 miles before Johney law comes lookin for a paycheck. I've been pulled over for LED lights on an amplifier that lit the db analog gauges. They werent even bright and could only be seen if you looked down into the trunk area. He was on a hill above me so I got popped. Were not allowed any kind of fancy stuff on our cars here. Michigan sucks in every possible way. I cant wait to move.

one time in nashville i put on blue strobing neons so i could get pulled over cause i was lost in the ghetto at 430 AM...didnt work...lol. cops dont care at all there! in NH you cant even have white lights where lights arent supposed to be!

I had a red neon bar in the back window of my Camaro. Never once got S**t for it.

Down here in texas, you can't be able to see a bulb that is blue or red. You can see a red or blue light but not the bulb. I asked a cop one time when I was pulled over. It sounds like michigan sucks for car enthusiast.

Ha Mark those are Audiobahn 1206T speakers in a Q-logic type 2 box right? Just wonderin. I had a set of those speakers and the same box. I ran it with the Audiobahn A2300HCT amplifier. It bumped pretty good. I was somewhat dissapointed though. Before I had the 400watt monoblock Audiobahn amp with 2 12" Infinity's. Too bad I didnt know about ya sooner, I was trying to give away a 2 farad Lightning cap to anyone on here and no one seemed to want it very bad so I sold it at the pawn shop for $30. And it would have only cost $9 max to ship it anywhere in the US. A system like yours can always use a little capacitance.

Ya Michigan really does suck for car enthusiasts, Not only do we get a cop up our ass anytime we do anything nice to our car, we also get the pleasure of the road salt being spread all winter and we can damn near hear it eating our poor birds alive. I wish they used the chemical sprayer instead of the salt, but I suppose it probably gets too cold, hell sometimes they dont even waste time with salt and just spread sand on the roads, cant say thats much better for the cars but I think I would choose sand over salt.

not trying to steal this thread but hgffrank- do u think ill get pulled over for having pontiac letters across my windshield? it sounded like they are pretty strict up there and i didnt know if they are strict about stickers on the windshield. plus im goin up there in a week and need to know what to expect. thanks

The stickers on the windsheild are fine, lots of ppl have them. I don't have the Audiobahns anymore, gave them to my gf's step dad. I have Alpine Type-R's sitting in my room right now until I get my back window tinted. Alpine>Audiobahn.

Yeah the stickers arent allowed either, but like Mark said you will be fine, they dont say anything about them. Besides you dont live in Michigan so Im not sure that they could hold you to our standards, dont stress yourself. Enjoy yourself and dont worry about the pigs. Hopefully someone will order some bacon and they wont even see you.

Looks good, but I am with Frank.......... here in NY stickers on the windshield will get you an obstruction to view ticket along with a high aftermarket wing. As for lights they will also get you ticketed for alteration of saftey equipment and if blue or red it can also get you locked up for impersonating a city official (cop, fireman, EMS, etc.).

Here in Kansas you can have a sticker on the windshield as long as it doesnt go down past a certain point. But as far as the lights you cannot alter the color of your lights.

But that does look good Matt!!

I hate how they bitch about all these lights and S**t but yet you can go out and buy a fricken suv and mini vans with a TV instailed right into it. How many times have u pulled up behind 1 and started watching tv with them.
