What a cold and windy day, but great at the same time.
I got to meet a new friend, Stephen, and shared a great afternoon with the guys, Cory Jay, Craig, and Mike.
We started out from my place at 10:10, (me, Mike, Cory, and Craig), and meet up with Jay and Stephen an hour later at our meeting point.
After a nice meet & greet, we took a few pictures of the cars and the guys, and then headed out to the drag strip.
This was a happenstance, because without planning this, it just so happened to be the last test and tune of the season at the track, and the place was buzzing with activity.
We saw a couple of cars get into the 8s, and also a good share of break downs.
The bikes were "off the hook", and the ricers were always good for some comic relief!

All I can say, is Jeremy picked a fine time to have troubles with his car, because he would have loved it!
But no worries, as we are planning to get together next year, and meet at the track, and who knows, maybe we'll take a turn at the track...Mike, just how fast do you think that '02 CE is anyways?

Well, enough of the talk, here comes the pictures, I just wish I had more to share, so Jay and Stephen please post any of them you have, here, and we'll let FBN see that us guys out in the middle of nowhere can still have a great time with Friends and Firebirds!!

it was a great time cant wait till we do it again and i told know how fats my 02 CE would run have to pry it away from the wife and see if she would let me run it.it was awsome meeting got to finely meet stephan what a cool guy and leons brother craig and it was great running down the road with a row of third gen birds

DAMMIT!!!!!!!!! If I would have just gotten away from frustrationa nd went out and worked on the thing I would have made it. Turned out it was only the #6 and #4 plug wires swapped. Now it is perfect and runs like new again.

How many of you are willing to go to cordova? Nov. 3rd there is a track rental by MFBA.org and we could all head down there. I will be attending this with the bird and we could all meet somewhere beforehand and run to the track together. Let me know. PM me if you can make it or are willing to go.

I posted a track rental in this forum. Check it out. If noone wants to hit the track rental we can have a GTG and cookout or something. Let me know guys. I really wanted to be there but when I get frustrated I don't do anything else but dwell.

Its getting too late in the year for me.
We ususally pull the ins. on the cars in Nov. for winter storage.
But we'll be ready for next years GTG.
