I bought a 1999 non WS6 Trans Am, and it is red with a 6 speed manual transmission. The odd part is that it has white leather interior including the door panels. Is this a rare setup?
Cool, thanks INJUNEER!Trans Am World build data:
The service parts identification label might show top and interior RPO codes. Maybe also on window sticker. 1999 factory service manual has definition list of RPO codes. Free download courtesy of member GaryDoug:

Take it to a good automotive upholstery shop. They have access to convertible top manufacturers and suppliers that don't have a presence on line.Yes, interesting. I cannot seem to find a white top online to buy and replace this black one with that is currently installed...
Ok, interesting... thanks for the response!Take it to a good automotive upholstery shop. They have access to convertible top manufacturers and suppliers that don't have a presence on line.
There happens to be a 94 TA Convertible on Facebook Marketplace I've been wanting to buy for several months now, (I'm waiting for the price to drop,) that has a brand new white top.....but I just don't want to message him and ask...LOL!
And, two other things of note: You really don't want to buy a top and install it yourself. It's a lot more difficult than YouTube makes it out to be.
Secondly, the top on the car is probably kinda cheap. It's too shiny. My top doesn't look anything like that.
Yeah, seems to be a good amount of work, I do believe it is best left to the pros... I would get a new paint job first, then have the top done last.I installed a couple of convertible tops on my cars many years ago. I never want to do that again. Takes more expertise than I had for sure.
Hello. I am not sure, but it seems to be a unique order. I posted the build sheet earlier in the post, it even had an arctic white top, which seems to be rare also. Previous owner replaced with a black top however.Just stumbled on this thread – super cool combo! A red '99 Trans Am with a 6-speed and white leather interior sounds pretty unique. I’ve been browsing a lot of listings lately and haven’t seen many (if any) with white leather, especially with the manual. Anyone know if this was a special-order option or just super uncommon?
