I dunno about you guys, but i think the blue metallic looks great on em, there arent too many around, i think they only used it on the 99 models...i couldnt really find a pic... but i think the color is gorgeous, and since there arent as many, has a little more class... dont get me wrong, you cant go wrong with any factory color on a t/a or firebird though

 

I like both the Sunset Orange and the Pewter.

SOM!!! I love it, but Pewter is my other color, then comes the mandatory black, followed by red.

i just realized how cool those rims are on that pic i just posted up! wow those are nice...classic style on the new thing, i like it.

plus i think some stripes down that hood would look so cool,maybe blue im not sure which colour exactly, but they'd be nice on it!

 

I voted white (lol) but I really hate that sunset orange color on a firebird, or any (or most) cars.

i dunno, i usually hate that colour too, but to me it really brings out the curves in the firebird. the white also looks very good on it, there's not many colours that can make a firebird look bad...cept for maybe pastel pink..i saw a 3rd gen that colour and almost cried the other day....lol.

Bright Red Baby! Classic and Classy! You can never go wrong with red. I do like the orange though depending on the car. On a LS1 sure, LT1 Red...

 

NBM sometimes it looks purple and sometimes black.

 

i voted for other, i like the look of the mystic teal. i think it is great when someone comes up to me and ask what color my car is, some think its is green, others think it is blue and at night some people think it is purple. i love how it plays with there mind. plus its just cool to have it sitting out in the sun and look down the side and see different colors.

It's actually called blue/green chameleon on Firebirds. When I first started looking at Formula's I wanted that color but they didn't offer it in 2002.

I really like the Maple Red, I've never seen a car with it in person, but in pics it gets my top vote. Seems to be much more rare than the SOM and BPM. One of my buddies has two BPM cars, both 98's, ones a TA and the others a Formy. He also has a BPM '04 goat.

Since my FireHawk is pewter, my Tahoe is pewter and my VTX is pewter......I feel like I have no choice. Can anyone guess what color I voted for?

Though I have to admit, when I bought mine I wanted black, but the dealer didn't have any. Now that I have red I wonder why I ever wanted anything else.
No matter what, any color looks better on a Firebird!

There is something about black though, that makes the T/a in particular look manly and muscular.

Black All the way is the best...

 

The thing about the colors on 4th Gens are the backlights. Sense the lights are black the only thing that does the lights justice is a dark color. Black, Dark Blue, and the Sunset Orange is pretty decent as well. But in the end there all cool. John

 

Gold Metallic!!!!!!! It is not as common as the others! I love mine.

I love the metalic sunset orange. that color with some black racing stripes and black z06 wheels. just looks bad a**.

 

I voted Black - whatta surprise - but the SOM looks great also.

 

Yeah I like the midnight blue metallic that looks great on a firebird. But I still love black! That Sunburst Orange Metallic would look awesome if it had some flat charcoal grey racing stripes that fit on the ram air hood. That would look awesome! But for my 79 TA I'm gonna do a black metallic, but with the tiny flakes, not the huge ones that you can see from a mile away. And it's gonna with a silver bird and decals. It's gonna look great, especially with tinted windows, and no chrome trim either. I can't wait! :drool:

1st. Sunset Orange Metalic
2nd. Navy Blue Metalic
3rd. Black

BRIGHT RED is my absolute favorite firebird/Trans Am color. of course it is not my favorite color for ALL cars, but it is for the firebirds.

 

gotta go with the black... definately. but you guys do bring up a good point about the SOM looking good with some charcoal stripes.
