does the rear trunk and side spoilers supposed to get the welting like they fender flares ?

Forgive me, I'm definitely not trying to hijack this thread but I was wondering this very same thing also. So they just bolt on with no kind of seals? Also, my car is a Esprit and never had the rear spoilers. Anyone know of a pattern or measurements for the bolt holes?

The bolt holes get sealed individually when you put the spoiler on. There's no welting used on the rear spoiler or end caps.

I'm not aware of a pre made pattern but there may be one. If you don't find one PM me.

Or you can find a trans am deck lid with the holes already in it?

Old topic that came up and was not answered in full.
No welting, spoiler holes are sealed by mastic washers on the helmet nut and trunk lid, and also between the trunk lid and spoilers. Various brands sell these, not all feature the seals but should. AMK also sell the various seals separately.

I already had the trunk lid with the holes so for the fenders I made a pattern off of the fender flares, lined it up to the installed trunk flare….marked the holes….drilled those puppies out
