Engine Swap Electrical

I have a 1994 Pontiac and a 1997 Pontiac the 94 has a LT1 and the 97 has a 3800 sereis 2. I want to put the LT1 in my 97 will the harnesses match up. What would I need to do if not?

The harness will not match up, and you will have to exchange the front suspension as well, due to the weight increase. This to me, is a monumental job. You also have to exchange your modules ( PCM, ECM, etc). Your gauges. Why not sell both of your cars, and buy you a nice V8 car?
