Years ago my 1974 had its wheels and tires stolen. When replacing I had 2 lug bolts replaced, the silver ones. My mechanic claims they are wrong and the raised area is interfering with my Rally 2 wheels. Prior to learning this, a tire shop must have used these wheel spacers to accommodate my replacement wheels. New mechanic says the spacers aren't safe and I need to check nut torque regularly. Any suggestions on how to correct this? Besides the obvious new studs. View attachment 231018

Spacers are ok if they are not the cast type. They crack. Summit sells a billet spacer. I would replace the studs with the correct ones. Way better in the long run.
