Spacers are ok if they are not the cast type. They crack. Summit sells a billet spacer. I would replace the studs with the correct ones. Way better in the long run.Years ago my 1974 had its wheels and tires stolen. When replacing I had 2 lug bolts replaced, the silver ones. My mechanic claims they are wrong and the raised area is interfering with my Rally 2 wheels. Prior to learning this, a tire shop must have used these wheel spacers to accommodate my replacement wheels. New mechanic says the spacers aren't safe and I need to check nut torque regularly. Any suggestions on how to correct this? Besides the obvious new studs. View attachment 231018
