Bets way to read your cars story is through the RPO sheet. Some cars came with the 3:42 and LSD in 2000, all Y87 cars were equipped as such. Non Y87 cars could be optioned as such, some came with the LSD, some did not. The 16X8 rims were standard by 2000.

As for $512 for the W68 kit, thats a STEAL! Hopefully they have them in stock. They go for around 800 on ebay.
