I dont see why not. I use Mobile One 10w30 full-synthetic on mine. You wont regret the change to the synthetic!

 

Valvoline isn't bad. A buddy of mine uses that Valvoline racing oil. I'm a GTX guy myself. Never used the K&&N filter though. Just the Fram. Does the filter also effect performance?? never thought about it..

 

are there any real differences between the ones that costallot and the cheaper ones and how well the filter out the particles

 

now THAT is what ive wondered as well..i know the synthetic stuff is supose to be better but other than that, the only thing i can think of is brand and weight differences. seen royal purple in some cars too. and i dont have favorite filters. as long as it has sure grip really.

 

I use Amsoil synthetic...2 oil changes per year and 2 Amsoil filters only...have been doing this on all me vehicles

 

In every report I have studied which is many many of them Amsoil comes in first always with Mobil1 in second place.

 

thanks amsoil you can use it just 2 oil changes a year and it wont hurt anyting by doning that i read that on the site and it said 10,000 miles if you use the oil and oil filter

 

The thing about the racing oil is that the detergent package isn't intended for long term use. It is intended for use for one race, not thousands of miles.

 

so then i should use ROYAL PURPLE instead of racing oil bc its only for one use not long term

 

RP would be a much better choice than racing oil.

 

at a state farm oil filter test the purolater gold filtered oil just as much as the kn and its half the price and the worst was fram dont get those
and oil is oil just make suure ur engine has some in it

 

i know the frams are crap when i bought the car it came with it iam going to use the amsoil filter and oil
