From what I believe iv heard before, I don't think this is possible is it? I'm not tryna do a lot to my engine itself cuz I plan on swapping in the next year and a half...(specific goal)...but I found this cai near me I cud practically steal, but I don't think itll fit, jus tryna get some clarification

Are you talking about the stock WS6's raised air box? If so, it won't fit unless you have the WS6 hood.

Well i dont know exactly what it looks like, all that it says is SLP cold air intake off of his wrecked TA

the ram air intake is not functional unless u got the ram air hood.
You can buy the ram air hood for 500$ new, and u can buy the intake new for like 300$
u will get like 30 HP or more with both the hood an d the intake.

oh yeah? yeah ive priced the hoods b4....that might be something to look into, cuz ill still be usin it when that day comes when i do the swap...

yeah, when i did my bumper swap on sunday i got to see what my car would look like with the hood as i lead Owen to my mechanics lot he let us use...hes got my same color but his is a formula with the ram air hood, i couldnt stop lookin at my rear view, ...beautiful, lol

The SLP CAI is the same on LS1 and 3.8. Im posting the CAI installation instrutions so you can see it.

The SLP CAI Ivan posted is NOT the stock WS6 intake. The OP made it seem like you had found a stock WS6 intake for sale, is that the case? If so, the raised air box will not fit without a WS6 hood.

Oh nah well its a TA parting out and one of the parts listed is slp cold air intake...
