I have a 69 coupe which I’d like to keep close to stock,I have changed up to front disc brakes ,I’m looking to go with cragar ss 15” x7 ,4” backset with 225/60-15 on front and 15x8,4.25” with 245/60-15 on rear.worried about rubbing rear lips any advice?

I don’t know if this helps but I have an 81 with 255 on the back with no issues.

I run 225-60s on the front with 7in rims and 245-60s on the rear with 7in rims.8 in on the back could get you very close to the edge.Dont know what my back space is.They are Western Wheel Mini Like rims.FWIW,Tom

Thank you,I have replaced all suspension and bushings as oem,do the larger tires on rear look correct or stuffed under quarter

eat thanks for the info I am concerned because I have no air shocks or shackle extension so the car sits level front to back that is why I asked also I am worried about rubbing quater lip

You do realize that the 245/60-15 (26.6” diameter) is 1” taller than the 225/60-15 (25.6” diameter)?

Yes thank you,I do but talking to others there are many opinions so I’m listening before purchasing
