I replace the tackometer .1994.replaced it with a 97..there was a break problem.but no lights ever came on.now with the new 97.tackometer there is am inod .light .,brake ,abs,.and track.light .are these preexistant problems and the old tackand ometer and gages.didnt suport these features?oris itbecause i useda 97.instead of original 94....

This is one of those problems where you need to download both the 94 and 97 wiring diagrams for the instruments. See if the pin outs for all the idiot lights are the same for both years. I'm thinking they aren't. You will probably have to re pin the instrument panel connector to match the new cluster.

Since you say you changed the tach, which requires opening the cluster up. Are you sure you installed tach correctly and didn't damage the plastic circuit piece.
