Be sure to let us know what you think of it and how the install goes.

Moving along with the install. Got the package shelf so now i can go ahead and run the wiring. Couple of questions as I proceed.
How to cut the opening for the 6x9 speakers on the shelf plate, jigsaw is what i have and i suppose a fine tooth blade. And do i bite the bullet and solder the speaker wires or use s all butt splices?
I got the dual cone speaker mounted in the dash where the orignal single speaker was.

Solder the speaker wires. If you have the aptitude, that's the way to do it.

While running the speaker wires up the left side when i got down to the front floor pan, thank god they are fine, under the drivers feet the park brake cable runs under the carpet then goes out below just ahead of the front seat the cable outer cover showes alot of corrosion but operates fine. Like I said in another post I have come this far replacing parts, looks like I should get cables on the way, the seat and soon the carpet will be out so there would never be a better time to do it.

$130.00 OE steel or 210.00 for stainless. Both kits have 3 cables and clips and brackets. I really like the Firebird Central web. They have had all the parts needed so far. Pictures help.
