I would have added a x-pipe to it. These really hep to equalize the pressure in the exhaust system. JMO

 

It's been a while since you posted this. How is the exhaust holding up?

 

It is doing quite well. I did scrape on a speed bump and had to readjust everything on the passenger side, but all is well again. The system really sounds and looks great. I may add a cross over pipe in the future. I have added some cheap chrome tips and it really looks hot in my eyes. Here are some pics-

Those pictures were taken about 6 weeks ago. The only thing you will find negative about the system is that you will have to cut some of the center or tail pipe to make each side fit correctly for the Fbody. This is a universal type system that fits a few types of GM cars. THe mounting hardware offered in the kit is not the best and you may have to modify some of them. But for 220$ delivered to my door and with a tight budget at the time, this kit worked well for me. Just one more thing, even though I love the sound these 2.5 inch pipes create, I it is quite tight near the rear differential and 2.25inch would of probably worked better. That is it though, otherwise I am very happy with my small investment into them.

 

Thank you for the fair warning... Only reason im looking into this system is because im on a budget as well and i'm just dying to get the headers on already.

bought the same kit from summit but am upgrading my mufflers during install, took it out of box yesterday and laid it all out, looks like a very nice kit, cant wait to get it installed tomorrow
