There are several different options as far as stereo equipment goes on the 95. The basic systems have the amp built into the head unit. While top upgrade system has sub woofers and separate amp for them.

But on even the upgrade system, all the other speakers get their power from the head unit and there are wires from there to the speakers. On base unit, all speakers are connected to head unit.

We have the 95 factory service manual in the 4th gen tech section. Download it. It will have wiring diagrams for all sound systems used that year.

is it better for resale value of a 2000 Firebird 3.6L V6 auto to have stock audio or an aftermarket audio? Didnt know if original was better?
Since this is a relatively common vehicle, I'd say that a good aftermarket system, cleanly installed, will slightly increase the value of the car. You can always retain the original head unit for reinstallation.

question does anybody know the exact number size and location of all the speakers on a 2000 Firebird with the Monsoon AM FM Stereo and CD Player. Trying to replace some components. Have refurbished the radio and I need 2 speakers in backseat quarter panels. There is 2 more in hatch area and 4 in front doors I think, Trying to replace any that need replacing while swapping radio and several upgrades to drivetrain and suspension.
