I have a problem, my car after driving for about 5 minutes and then i stop, i notice that it has smoke coming from where the right rear brake is, is this the emergency brake? when i got the car, i noticed that the lady i bought it from never used the emergency brake, how i could tell? i could barely even pull it up one notch! its like the emergency brake is engaged all the time so slightly i can't notice it. i would greatly appreciate any help at all, thank you very much.

Caliper may be seized. Could be the pins it slides on, or the piston could be stuck due to corrosion. Jack it up (both rear wheels off the ground) and see how hard it is to turn the wheel. And it is possible the E-brake cable is stuck in the "on" position. That would show up as both rear wheels hard to turn, unless the cable it simply rusted on one side.
