Hey guys,

I'm looking to have some work done on my 95 Formula and need to find a good shop to do it. I live in the southwest burbs (near Joliet). Any suggestions. Outlaw Motorsports is near my house, but I don't know anything about them other than the guy who owns the place was on Pinks. Any one have any work done at Speed Inc in Schaumberg?

Thanks!

Your best bet would to probably go to the BIG city (like Chicago, Springfield, St. Louis) where pricing is a bit more competitive. Is Joliet even a city yet, last time I checked they had two or three stop signs and no railroad crossings and farmers everywhere.

Oooooo.... I highly recommend Tony from Outlaw Motorsports. He is a really great guy that does awesome work. He's probably going to be cheaper than some of the other shops in the area as well.

Outlaw is very well known in the fbody community in the Chicagoland area and I have not heard anything bad said about them. I've been to their open house, bought parts from Tony... yada yada yada. I would not hesitate bringing my car to Tony to get my car worked on.

Plus, if you need to have your car picked for whatever reason, he'll pick it up and take it to his shop.

-There is also Straighline Motorsports or Performance or something like that. I think they're at 1320hp.com or something. I have not been hearing much about Straightline as of lately, but I know they did great work. I dont know much about who works on their cars now.

-Theres also FLP, Finish Line Performance. www.flp2win.com These guys really know what they are doing. This is one of the best fbody related speed shops in the area that continually build amazing cars with great customer satisfaction. I had my car tuned here, and will be bringing it back to have a few things changed. Talk to Mitch over at FLP and tell him that Greg (scrmnws6) from the MFBA sent ya!

Good luck!
