Radiator core support repair

I have a 78 Formula and it has the usual rot under the battery tray, the rot is pretty extensive. I would think that with such a wide spread issue that there would be repair parts available to be welded in to the core support but I can not seem to locate any. Does anyone know if these parts exist or am I stuck replacing the whole support?

Unless your good at fabricating your own repair panels, another core support is your only choice.

New or used, 77-81.

I was afraid that was the answer. They are pretty easy to find online used but the shipping kills you. Hopefully I will be able to find one locally. I am not in a hurry to get it, I have plenty of other work to do before I get to this project. Thanks for the info.

They are fairly basic flat panel construction too if you need to cut out pieces and weld in new.
