So, I painted my engine with the POR-15 engine kit. It came out awesome. I let it cure for 17 days before starting my engine. I took my car around the block a couple of time and I could smell my engine burning.
When I popped the hood, I notice the engine paint look like it was melting. What the hell?? Anyone have any experience with POR-15 engine paint kit?

I followed the directions to the T.

1. I cleaned the engine multiple times with there engine prep.
2. I primed the engine with POR-15 (As per directions)
3. I Applied the engine color paint.
** Followed directions, all the items were sold as a kit.

I didn't paint the exhaust manifold.

Should I let it burn off ? Will it stop? Should I scrape it off???

I also have never used it, but since it is made for engine parts, I would just drive it and hope it doesn't end up looking bad once it's done. I assume you had the engine disassembled, painted the parts, and the cure time was through getting it back in the car? Are you positive there is nothing else touching the engine that could be burning (plastic/rubber)? If it is in fact the paint burning, I wish I could make a recommendation but, I don't think there's much you can do about it. Sorry.
