I recently received the following part:

http://www.firebirdcentral.com/ProductDetails.asp?ProductCode=WEA-16

and these are about 1 cm shorter than the one that came out of it.

I thought I'd try them out so I put them onto the frame just as a "dry run" (no screws, no glues) and there is a big gap between these rubbers and the rest of the t-top door frame.

They look like sh!t and probably would cause more leaks than the titanic.

Good money gone down the gurgler !

Take a look at the photo, guess which one is the new part and which one is the existing part.

Sorry for your trouble, but another case of a sorry Chinese reproduction part. The problem with returning the part to the US is that shipping will be more, I guess, than part is worth.

Try to find genuine GM or at least GM approved parts. The genuine GM will cost much more, but at leat you'll have the peace of mind of getting the exact same part as your replacing.

Actually - made in India.

either way, a tragic waste of money. I have emailed them and put a post on their facebook page, no response yet.
