Getting ready to install a oil pressure sensor/gauge in my '68 350. Don't really want to remove the '"light" sensor (but will if I have to). Heard there's a place by the distributor, to put one, but can't seem to locate it. Anyone help me out with a pic?

Thanks,
Brian

I don't have a pic, but on the drivers side of the block, up top, beside where the Dist mounts, there is a Pipe plug screwed into the block. If the engine is in the car, it will be difficult to see the plug, and most likely have to remove the dist to get to it. I had to mount my sender with a 40 degree fitting, to mofe it away from my Distributor. But I am running a '81 Sending unit, they mihgt be different size than the 68's

I found a pic on Google. This is looking form the Rear of the block. You can see the plug on the left of the Dist hole, right above the E214 date code

Just that and the stock location on the oil filter mount. You can install a Pipe fitting 'T' in the Oil filter mount and mount both the Light and Gauge sensor there.

I clicked on images, then just searched through Pontiac 400 I think it was
