I have a ‘95 Trans Am and I’ve noticed oil spots under it and oil on top of the valve covers and on the dipstick tube. Can anyone provide information on where it could be leaking from? I’m lead to believe it’s the pcv valve clogged causing back pressure but I have no other symptoms.

I have some pictures to help you visualize. The oil spots look like they’re coming from multiple areas but still in one collective area. It’s worse on the passenger side and it’s leaking onto the header causing a bad burn smell.

Engine was overhauled a few years ago but it is completely stock. Never had any upgraded parts, superchargers or ran nitrous. I will check over everything mentioned after work, this is my first fbody so I’m still learning the ins and outs of the chassis. Good to know it’s most likely what I originally thought!

Oh, no it has the 6 speed trans. I forgot to mention that. The oil is coming out from the oil dipstick tube.
