Just asking and would like some opinions. On what you think they would look like on an 88 firebird.
Does anyone have non functional hood scoops on their firebirds.
If you do and had some pictures I would like to see them.

What kind of hood scopps are you referring to? Like ram air looking things? those dumb stick on ones they make? the ones like on the 95-92 TA hoods? cowl scoops? I can get pics of anything you want...

Just something to dress up the hood a bit the car is plan white and looks like it needs something.
Maybe something on each side of the center line of the hood. I am just asking for ideas. Maybe some stripes would be the way to go again just asking.

Thanks for the input but if a hood scoop is going to make my Pontiac look like ricer I for sure don't want one.
Actually though a guy I work with told me about a firebird for sale across the road from his house that had hood scoops on it. So today after work I went and looked at it. The car is in pretty bad shape but the hood does have 2 small scoops
on it but they do not look like the do anything and they did appear to original. But no one was home to let me lift the hood. I'm not sure what year it is.

You see that car of the month for April the hood that I looked at is like that but more of a scoop to openings. Thats what I am asking about.
It kind of looked from a distance more open but up close it looked like it did not do anything.

Most factory scoops after the mid seventies usually didn't do anything without being modified.

Look for a GTA hood, the scoops are semi-functional. They might let some of the heat out.
