Hello,
I'm a newb living in Raleigh, North Carolina.
My 78 Trans Am was bought new by my Dad and then sold to my Cousin who sold it to me in 1986.
54,500 original miles and I decided to get some restoration and mod work done.
I had previously modified the 6.6 with an Edelbrock intake, Holley 750 carburetor, and Comp cam.
Had the transmission redone with a BM torque converter and shift kit.
Put on Koni shocks and did the Baer disc brake conversion all around.
The new modifications and restoration include:
A repaint of the car to clean up those rust spots we all have.
New rims to put on 245/60/15's.
And the big news will be an 2007 LS7 (616 HP Lingenfelter kit) with a 4L85 Supermatic transmission.
Too bad I'll miss the Trans Am Nationals and a chance to meet those of you who are going!
