All right, it's been a while since I've posted. I've been working on my bird diligently for the last couple of months. I picked up my 81' Formula for $750 late last year. She wasn't running, and the body was in rough shape. Put a few pics up back then when I joined this site. Since then, I've refreshed the rear end, replaced u-joints, changed out the clutch and all associated bearings, got the engine up and running rather nicely, took care of the body work and painted the car. I have carpet, sound deadener (from Second Skin, not Dynamat) and a whole plethora of interior work to hit up next. But for now she is mechanically in a happy place. Here are some photos from post paint... BTW, since the pics I found someone to trade me my incorrect hood for the formula hood. I now have to take care of a few dents and paint it to match.
Edit: This was also my first ever paint job. I did all the work start to finish. Not perfect, but pretty decent. Summit paint - Ultra Blue Pearl Metallic.
