I sprung for the poly mounts they have at Butler.

I'm not sure if that was smart or not but I will tell you, they are robust.

Can't speak to worth so I probably should have just not posted, but they fit well and are well made.

I haven't started the new motor yet, I have wiring to finish.

I ended up going with Butlers SS Polys. Will keep you posted how they work out.

Thanks
Good choice, that is the same ones I got, but havent installed yet since my engine is being rebuilt, but you for sure need them because I have been told that the stock ones wont hold up with all that power if you have stroked a 400 with alumn heads (not sure you have the alumn heads or not) but still a lot more power then the stock mounts were made for.

Well yesterday I noticed my engine dancing so I will assume I need mounts

I have long tube headers should I go with poly?

Anyone tried the energy or prothane mounts?

Also do I need to just lift the engine or will this be more involved like remove the headers?
