Hello peeps! I have a question, maybe a possible issue...really hoping it's not an electrical gremlin. Apologies if I posted in the wrong section.
I'm running errands before work yesterday, nothing special, when I noticed the stereo lost sound for a second. No big deal, I thought it was maybe the radio station or I might have had some signal interference. I didn't pay it much thought...until it happened again a few seconds later. :wtf:
A few more seconds later, yet again - this time for about 30 seconds. Now I'm getting a little nervous. I'm stopped at a light, & that's when I notice the antenna is down...but I didn't shut off the radio. I look at the display, & it's dark. I tried to turn the radio back on, & no response.
Okay, I'm getting a bit freaked, especially when a few seconds later I hear the antenna motor & the radio starts playing again.
I turned off the radio & booked it back home. I'm thinking if it is God forbid a short, I'd rather the kidlet be at home than leave me stranded on the road somewhere. I checked the fuse diagram, but everything else on the fuse works no problem. I started the engine again, & no problems. I decided not to use the radio anymore as a precaution. All my electricals are working fine (I drove home from work tonight with no issues), but I'm still keeping an eye on the stereo to see if anything odd happens.
Any ideas? Should I be worried, or is this nothing? I'll try to check back in before I head off to work this evening - thanks in advance.
