Looks like it's time for new shocks!

About to replace the 20 year old shocks on my 95' TA and am planning on going with the Monroe 5867s. I picked these because I am looking for the smoothest ride possible from the rear end of this car. Before I order them does anyone have a suggestion for shocks that may be even smoother than the Monroes? I love the sporty look and feel of the car but really want as much comfort as I can get from the existing suspension. Planning on doing front end in the future but am starting with the shocks. Thanks

Did you find any shocks Austin?? I'm going to have to put rear struts on the girls GP. they are "toast".
I put bilstein hd2s on my last bird which was a 99. They were way better than the shot stock ones...but I thought they were too stiff. It handled ten times better but it was still a pretty harsh ride in my opinion.
Bilsteins are really the best stock replacements on the market. KYB's are the best ADJUSTABLE shocks. Koni's are ok, but they are only rebound adjustable. All others like monroes, KYB excel-G, etc are going to be soft. Personally, if you want more of a stock feel, i would install the ACDelco original parts from rockauto.com, and replace the LCA/trackbar bushings. Maybe some new swaybar links too.
For performance type suspension components, Sam Strano carries some of the best parts available. He has won SCCA championships driving an F -Body. Doubt that he has any parts that will give you a ride like grandpa's Buick, but if you want performance, take a look.
