I am restoring our 1981 Trans Am. Dad bought it brand new for my brother. They have both passed on and I now have it. Saskatchewan car so there is no rust but the whole thing needs restoring...my nephew had it in shop class for a paint job.....a disaster, so I will bring it back..... still under 100, 000 kms.

Good question to put in your build thread. Always good to post a few pictures of what you're starting with - interior, exterior, engine, underbody, etc.

If you’re asking about rigid plastic interior parts, I've had good results with Eastwood and SEM interior vinyl paints, and requisite prep materials. But depends on whether you're doing complete interior, or just hoping to match colors for a small repair.

Definitely others here who have a lot more experience with this topic than I do.
