I want to start a FBNCC Illinois chapter.

If anyone is interested, let me know. I reside in Decatur IL. (central) so Im right in the middle where everyone can meet up

Sounds like a good start Brandon. Best thing to do is make up cards or flyers you can hand out. Go to shows, and start talking, i know thats how we plan to grow this summer. Keep us posted, and any questions just ask!!!

I didnt know ANYONE with a firebird when I joined FBN.
When we started the mass chapter we only had 4 people from FBN that were interested. 2 of those people we never heard from again after starting the chapter.
We worked the whole winter recruiting people from other sites and with flyers and used a "meet-up.com" website which got alot of veiws. we advertised in the local newspaper as well and havent looked back. we have about 25 members as of right now after just over a year.

thanks guys. What I want to do is get a banner for my rear windshield to advertise for the site (cuz that's the only part of the car anyone will see lol )

it can be huge, idc. I just wanna help out however I can. This is an awesome site, and I would LOVE to help it expand. Ive never really done anything like this, plus I'm 21, so I'm still young compared to a lot of you, but I KNOW I CAN DO IT. I appreciate your help and encouragement guys, thanks and keep it up

There is a car show comming up in a few weeks....Its a small one, but its still a car show...i may check it out and pass the word. Thanks for the idea Stephen!

All you need is a couple or three dedicated members. With any club, it's always a core group that gets everything done.

Our core group is bigger than that now but when we first started it was Jesse and me from FBN. Then another couple of guys from meetup and away we went! We are at 29 members in less than a year and a half. If we can do it, so can you!

Very nice on the friend that is a dealer!!!! Thats a great way to start it. Also just getting out and talking to people who have birds will help too. Sounds like you are on the right path, now just need to find a VP to help you out too!!!

more then likely my dealer friend may be the VP....Ive known him a long time, and he helps me out when I need it...hes got a 3rd gen bird, so he'll fit right in
