Well I guess I'm the newest Canadian and by the looks of things the first from Saskatchewan. I hail from Rouleau. Home of the hit comedy series "Corner Gas". About 1/2 hour south of "the city that rymthes with a female body part" Regina.

Great to feel welcome.

Locally, I've noticed that there are way more Firebird/T/A owners out there, than are active in any club or discussion group.

They occasionally show up during car shows to see what all the fuss is about, and then disappear again, along with their cars.

Too bad, some of their cars were nice to see for a second or two.

The local scene is quieter as impending winter looms, but its great to find a discussion board where there is still life in the Firebird realm.

Will stay tuned!

I've outsourced a fair share of the mechanical work to local specialty shops, but I'm closer than ever to being complete.

Original carb and turbo have been professionally rebuilt, along with numerous other details attended to. Runs quiet and clean,

although I've not pushed it very hard, am quite pleased with it's overall performance....considering its age, originality, etc.

I'm hopeful to have finished with a slight trans leak, and subtle rear quarter dent, in time for the

World of Wheels car show in our city next spring.

Thats the plan, anyway.
