Just got a 2nd gen (76) and looking to upgrade the braking system. Since I am planning a pretty aggressively cammed motor I want to install a hydroboost brake booster. Any recommendations on brands or any install tips I might need to know? Thanks in advance.

I heard that this increases the braking power signifigantly, but i have yet to even see any aftermarket kits for it. I will follow this thread..

I would use manual disc. The master cylinder piston is much larger and the pivot point on the brake pedal increase leverage on the master cylinder. Thats what ive done.

I ran manual on mine and hated it! I switched to Hydratech and am very happy now!!!

This looks like the hydratech model just re-branded into a kit.

have a Hydratech system on mine, love it. Greatly enhanced braking and no Vacuum issues.
