Hi All,

I have no vacuum in the underdash HVAC system. Each Vacuum Line (including the source line and check valve)

tested fine individually, but the vacuum mode switch appears to be defective. The only port that will hold vacuum

(with the selector in any position) is #6 No other combination of settings/ports will hold vacuum. Has anyone ever

tested one of these 9-port mode switches with a vacuum pump. Just want to make sure I understand the schematic

in the tech manual, and that I'm trying to test it correctly.

Thanks

Update to no in-car vacuum.

Got my hands on a "reconditioned" vacuum valve switch which isn't perfect but I'm hoping it

will work under constant vacuum with the engine running. The switch had 5 vacuum lines on it.

When I replaced the switch, I found a sixth - gray in color which goes to the evaporator purge

vacuum valve canister. Can't find a schematic anywhere that will indicate to me where this gray

vacuum line plugs into. I'm assuming its the vacuum vavle switch, but which port I haven't a

clue. Can anyone out there help me out??
