I have a 1979 Firebird with a th350 and was curious what size shift cable I would need for a Hurst dual gate to work.

I use the shortest one sold. I think it's around 3 feet. Still have to loop it on top of the trans.

Also depends on the exhaust. short enough to clear, or long enough to reach the retainer on the chassis rail!
