I think your dear old Gramps would want you to have 4-500 HP. He was into personalizing his car, take his dream to the next level and I know he will looking down from heaven with a smile. He didn't give a crap about what anyone thought of his taste!

BTW that is one of my fears that my kids and grand kids would take my classic cars and instantly throw them on the auction block before my carcass is cold and cash in and by a stupid Prius or something. I picked up from school and took all of my little ones in my 6 pak Cuda out to do burn outs and doughnuts at a tender age so they might get bit but the same bug as me. Kids now a days are hard to impress , It might take 600+ HP

lol, I would never sell it, and I bet when the time comes (still wishing you a nice long life) your kids will probably want to keep what you leave too. I have two teenage sons that already want to inherit it from me and a six year old daughter that calls it the “super car”.

Nice...I woulda grabbed that if it showed up for sale at a reasonable price in my neck of the woods! :) I didn't even know they made a "5.0 Litre" shaker hood decal.

(Of course, midwestern cars invariably come with the optional "Salt Rust Holes", so she probably wouldn't have made it to this advanced age around here!)

You, my friend are exactly right! I don't have grandkids, but I'm 69 and I have nieces and nephews.
And BTW.....I saw a 6 pack Cuda on FB Marketplace in Dallas this morning for $135K. That would buy a few Priuses.
