I am curious as to the thoughts of the group regarding the honeycomb rims versus the snowflakes. I have been an admirer of the 8" snowflake rims for as long as I can remember. My project 75 came with the Rally rims, but I was toying with upgrading to the honeycombs. I actually bought a set of 15" honeycombs recently, but the 8" snowflakes keep calling my name. I don't care about originality at all since I have a 1973 455 motor in an original 400 car. I think I will sell the honeycombs, get a set of 8" snowflakes, and have them painted black in between the aluminum "flakes".

Honey combs went from 71-76, (I belive, if my memory serves me well) and were optional. I like the rally IIs better, but on my 73, if I ever get to do it over, I "might" opt for the honeys, just cause they were optional. Had some 15X7...(8s?) turbo wheels from an 80 Turbo T/A, and like the size and offset, but had them on a 79 car. I could see snowflakes on the 77-78 FBs, but on anything else, don't think so. Might rather have the rally IIs on them instaed. But "hey", thats just me.
