Hey everyone, I've been reading posts on this great forum for a while now, and finally decided to try to give a shot at being a part of the community. I live in western CT, but hardly see other birds on the road and when I do, I'm usually excited and try waving, but instead get a funny look

Subaru tuners and Mustang drivers seem to be the only ones who meet up around here and despite their lame choice of cars, I catch myself envying their sense of camaraderie, hah! So I'm pretty happy I found such a big group of Firebird lovers on the web.
I got my '97 around a year ago in pretty rough shape cosmetically, but it ran beautifully (with 60k miles) and couldn't ignore it. So I've been devoting quite a bit of my free time trying to get her back into shape:

A few months ago, some older fella nearly hit me head-on, so I'm going to have to replace the bumper, driver-side headlight, and fender along with some other less major parts in order to get her back into acceptable condition. I've been keeping my eyes out for a trans am bumper to throw on, I've always been a fan of their look.
Aside from a CAI and exhaust system (that I've yet to invest in), I intend on keeping her stock as it's my daily driver.
