The last few days my bird’s been making me fly high with gas fumes. I can't understand it. Every time after I fill up the car it always has a distinct smell of fumes filling up the ###### pit, I of course laugh it off seeing as I love the scent of non leaded gas fumes. But the last few days the cars been blasting me out of it with the highest concentrated smell ever! It used to go right away after a few miles but this time it the worst. And even stranger when I went to my bird, the thing spit up a rather large portion of gas from its glass cap (Which was tight) and drained all down the side leaving one hell of a stain. I don't know what wrong.

First, park on a dry, light colored concrete and check for drips.
Examine the fuel tank for rock chips.
Check the lines for breakage or leaks.
Also check the EVAP system, I had a problem with my 305 TPI is was the charcoal canister's return line.
