Fuel pump died--To drop tank or cut floor? Will cutting harm value?

Have a 2002 WS6 convert with only 67,000 miles. Like new interior but clear coat coming off, etc. Want to restore it to keep for future for my daughter. It has aftermarket exhaust system that would have to be taken apart to drop the tank. So---Ive cut the floor pan on 3 others to get to pump. Now, this isnt goig to be a 'show car' but I want it to hold value so, will doing a nice trap door type cut to relpace pump hurt its future value?
