Hey guys, I've been trying to find a Firebird decal for the hood of my car, but cannot seem to find one. I got a red 3rd gen bird, so does anybody know a site that sells decals for reasonable price? Thanks!

Have you tried Phoenix Graphix? They are an advertiser on this site.

They offer an outline style that was available in 1987 http://www.phoenixgraphix.com/transam/1987ta.php

and some custom 2nd Gen styles to fit 3rd Gens http://www.phoenixgraphix.com/transam/7981ta-99.php

I've had one of their one-piece hoodbirds on my '80 for about 11 years now with no issues. It is tricky to install - best to have a trusted friend to assist. We used soapy water per instructions and left the backing on one whole side as we positioned the first, holding it carefully in place as we removed the backing on the second half. It takes a bit of diligence to squeegee out all the air bubbles. Then I let it sit out in the sun for a couple of days to dry before using a pin to poke the remaining bubbles and get it to lie perfectly flat. It has held up well over the years with no tearing, lifting or fading. But mine is garage-kept and driven sparingly.
