The drivers window when closing wants to skew forward (lead edge drops) when it is about 80% closed. This happened about 25% of the time. To correct problem should I replace regulator or will greasing tracks correct? Car has 348,000 miles and regulator is original part.

Probably one or more of the plastic rollers has broken or is missing. Take off the inner door panel and look at the mechanism though the opening in the rear part of the door. Look in the bottom of the door for a missing roller. A new regulator will come with all rollers.

Mine was doing the same thing. Got a motor and regulator for 40 bucks on ebay. Took about an hour to swap and adjust the stops. First time it was adjusted too high then too low so make sure you check that before you go thru the trouble of putting the panel back on.
