Geez Brownie...

What you got under that hood an LS9?

LOL

BillyMag she likes it but as you see she is tiny so she had to climb up in it way up, so she hates it in that respect, but her girls where she works said they would drive it...

I bought the Charger so I could get the Jeep away...lol

Then found out she was driving my Jeep to Soccer practice for kids so she did not have to get her car dirty...go figure...

I have five days left here then I fly home to Florida (they mentioned a light dusting of snow possible tonight here....and then four days home add all that stuff or as much as I can. Then drive up until Dec 19th then I get to drive back home for 14 days for Christmas...

Then drive back up here again...each trip one way is 1000 miles...

I like the Jeep Brownie...

Ok so check it out...

Love the second Pic bro...

lol

Wifey just got a set I have not seen them yet...

Ok as far as the Jeep we have a couple things in common...

As I do my mod thread Ill show you some I have spotted...

One I will point out is Im cutting the fender flares off, and doing it with a twist.

First mine are factory painted so thats different, they act as though I cant do it without chips we shall see...

The second thing I would like to know what Slider Rock Guards you bought so I can find a similar style for my JKU...

next wait till you see my Decals and stickers..lol

Plus I have a few more things I will be doing also...Stay turned man.

You know I think weird about what can be done to my vehicles any how...

I did remove all underglow lights and will not be adding them back to TA or on Jeep...lol

No Flamethrowers either, Im giving that one up also...

And in Usual Mark Fashion, I ran over my SPOD by accident...lol

chopped the crap out of my fenders...Plus Much Much More...

Ok The Mods Start....

This is a walk around ...
Sorry it was around midnight but My time is very limited and I worked 9 hours in MO, then flew home, then worked 22 hours non stop around the clock to get to where I am stopping until after Turkey Dinner...
happyyes.gif

Interrior and Exterior mods begin...

Ok one of the first things I did was run like a Kid, to the downstairs excited with presents and start grabbing everything I could simply slap on...
So we have

Floor Mats throughout...
Inserts for the Grill... I have to say the most impressive Yet cheap Mod I notice...Love em.
Grab Handles
LED ICE Blue Interior Lights for domes
Side Kick Pads, rock shield whatever you want to call them...25-30 bucks...
Works for me...
I also added the Zombie Skulls in Tail lights plus rock guards...

Factory Painted 08 Shahara Fenders...CUT UP...

Ok I said I was going to do it...
I watched many Videos, from guys doing a meticulous Job to guys putting on a piece of tape grabbing a saws all and just hacking them off...

Here is what I did to achieve my results...

First I taped the edge and paid attention to the straightness of the edges and curves as I went along...
I would say I spent at least 15-25 minutes applying tape to all four fenders...

Next I want to explain how I did it since I varied my method in my opinion...

Ok So I used two dremels, a Saws all, and a Surface Sander triangle shaped ryobi...

First I put a Diam plate metal cutting wheel on the cordless, which I was able to complete a fender and start a second then would require charging...

I went from left to right to minimize the throw up toward the face of plastic particles...
This works Most excellent to coin the phase from Bill and Ted...
The part is the cut line causes no Flaking using this method at all...
I said at all...for those that are hard of hearing...
in fact they look awesome now...

Next I removed the tape and then rounded or not as I chose..

For the FRONT FENDERS
I made the first cut as in the videos from underneath so I had a cut line...
Next I removed the side marker, as shown in videos by cutting pins

Removed the side of the fender by cutting from one end to other.
ie front to rear or vice versa...

Cut out braces underneath...
then once I was there I did something I have not seen others do to this extreme...
I came straight up the inside edge along the Nose of Jeep with just enough room to get the dremel in and cut upwards...
then I went at 45 degree angle right to the side...
I went aggressive, then removed a lot of the support under front edge of Fender...
Re attached the Side marker, and completed the fenders so I could do the Bumper removal winch mount and add my Stinger...

Attached Thumbnails

I did not round it off so much to give it a more Angry look...I think it works...

Later I can always trim it off more if desired...

I forgot I also added the Dust/Bug deflector...
I added the 50" light bar as well...
I also added the Stubby Ant...
Better pics of Light bar

__________________

Edge trim is completed also along fenders

While working I had been up for basically two days, not stopped for more than ten minutes...as I mounted the lighted SPOD switches to the interior of the roof line...
I had to run to the store and literally drove over the SPOD main panel with all the circuit breakers in it...Yep no worky so I never got to even see the switches lite up...
I will have to send it to them in hopes they can repair...
I can say they are tough.
But it couldn't handle my Jeep rolling over it at 25mph...
I had accidentally left it on the front bumper...
Bet Ill never do that again, at 625.00

Also painted the rear bumper...
All fender wells added Skulls on Tag and Air valve stems...
Bumper in Back painted black made a big difference...

Also included are temp switch locations until SPOD is back.

Radar Detector and GPS radio Double din installed to factory Amp sounds excellent.

Halo lights installed

Here are pics of the halos I went with ...
However I did not set them up as white with blinkers...
I simply set them up as Amber with park lights.

The important thing is...

I was able to do everything listed above in three and a Half Days...

I love the look...

The light Bar is soooo Bright its crazy...

Halo Headlights are perfect without blinding people. Aimed correctly.

Radio with GPS was necessity...

I like to drive around town in this thing...

I like the TA for Speed and handling but as far as work and DD I love my Jeep...

Good work mark, jeep will make a better daily driver then 2nd gen. That way you can keep your trans am in good condition as your weekend cruiser.
I added a Tag relocation Bracket with LED third brake light plus the Block out panel that I painted to match Jeep with Dealer touch up...

I went to O'rileys to get Spray Can versions of Factory color Red Rock Crystal Pearl so I ordered four cans.

I found a Hard top with removable panels over driver and passenger side with rear window wiper but it was Grey...

Not for long soon to match the rest of my Jeep...

View attachment 148313 View attachment 148321 View attachment 148329 View attachment 148337

oh yea...My tires on jeep are 325 x 60 x 18s which makes them 33s...
Yes I agree sea dog...

I also looked at the TA I bought from PA during summer and the engine had a fuel line break that owner never really showed pics of that looked like rust all over engine...

It was not I wet my finger and wiped and it came right off. The paint will be removed because it is all cracked up plus it was tri colored...

I will go Gold on next engine when I also install the five speed...

After I complete SPOD, Inverter, Computer Mount, Hard Top with Paint to match, replacing the LED lights for Dash kit I already started on with dome lights completed...I will be stopping until next summer then returning the focus to complete the TA...I will need 12 gs to complete all at one time over two months or less.

Including Paint and Decals.

Then I will focus on Interior completion for seats to be recovered and trim pieces along with new roof liner.

Then I will drive the wheels off both... :B):

Ok lets try again...

Im stealing my post to place it here with updates...

X) S Pod Set up with six Custom Switches Ran over out of repairs... COMPLETED
I can not mention how well SPOD took care of me, after I ran over the first one...
I am the only person reported to have run over the SPOD under hood assembly, I would say it fared well considering...They replaced the main circuit board, Gave me a new cover for free and threw in a New circuit breaker also free...
Then they wished me better luck and a Happy Christmas...

Actually will be in Florida still hasent arrived
It was from Super Decals, which so Far has taken over two months since I ordered as well as catching them lying to me twice...

X) Zombie Badge for sides Applied

X) Gas Cap Cover Billet Black Later Completed...

I also decided to add Flood LEDs to front of my stubby bumper so I bought 9 LED flood work lights from Advance and installed them on Front bumper tapping into the existing wiring for Fog light function, then I added a Bypass switch from my New SPOD set up until I can program them to stay on with high beams...

Then I turned to the interior of my Jeep installing six Red LED 12" strips into the foot well areas.
To do this I removed the side floor panel on the passenger side, I have heard people say the Yellow wire with white stripe which is noticeably smaller in dia. I found this part not true it seemed to be the same size on my jeep...who knows...
Anyhow it was the Dome light so I tapped in with inline splice and then ran the two front LED strips from there grounding to the strap support on the passenger side, there is a slight lip under the dash to stick too that prevents direct view of the RED leds and actually works perfect.

Next I ran two from the Tailgate so when closed it would throw light into rear cargo area, ground to sub bracket at rear of vehicle by hinges, then feed a single wire up and connect under seat and floor carpets that also will provide power to the under the Driver and passenger seats...
Again a small edge of metal to affix to hiding the led from direct view.
I had a wire harness already to use that was already inside of a black sleeve so it looks factory, I also left enough room for wire to travel the entire slide area of the seats. This will allow the rear seats to be removed without messing with the wires at all and provides perfect lighting throughout the jeep.

Im good with it...

When I post some pics up later Ill add a link here...

SPOD set up is awesome, I went RED backlit there also
