Anybody think of a reason why these two wires were cut underneath my driver's seat? I was just taking it out so I could look at my inherited alarm that I have no remote for...

I don't have a wiring diagram in front of me, but based upon my experience those are the power (contsant) and ground wires for the seat track motor. Like Tony said, I'm not sure why anyone would cut them, instead of just unplug the connector. Do you have a Power Probe, by chance? I'd be curious to see if there is a problem with the seat track.

Sometimes people do stupid stuff. 🤷‍♂️

Glad you made the repair and have at least some functionality of the power seat. It's a nice feature, isn't it? By the way...good job on extracting that terminal in the previous picture. That's exactly how I would have recommended making the wiring repair. (y)

Does the pump hum when you press the lumbar button?

I retrofitted some of the AQ9 seats into my 1992 Pontiac Grand Prix and all the functions work, but some of the air bladders slowly lose air over time when they're inflated. I haven't figured out exactly why that happens, but much like with your issue, it's just a product of Father Time. 🤷‍♂️
