I've been a member on here since last year (not an overly active one), but a member nonetheless since I aquired my Firehawk. Since then, the Bird has been put on the backburner due to the purchase of a restaurant/bar. Well, in June, I am trying to set up a carshow to get my joint on the map. I have two, possibly three, car clubs that are interested. Bad thing is that none of these clubs have any Firebirds to speak of. One club is a Camaro club, so uggghhh, it is just Camaros. Everyone in town knows that I am a Pontiac nut, so wondering if anyone would like to participate and represent for the Birds? Mine will not be done by June as I am dumping all of my earnings from my full-time job into the bar, so I am looking for others. My place (CJ Dane's) is just outside of Champaign-Urbana (home of the University of Illinois Fighting Illini), so if you are interested in attending, drop me a line and I'll figure out how to hook up with you. This will be my 4 year old son's first car show, so he's pretty ramped up about it. He was too little to remember the drag races, but has taken an interest in showcars as of last year, so I'm mainly doing this for him. Hope to hear from someone!

How about that little f body car club in East St. Louis? Sue on TFS is a part of it but I can't remember the name. I have a friend up there in Joliet, his name is Cale P Atherton. Of course I haven't seen him since 1977 but we bunked together in Fort Hood, Texas. Hope you can find these guys. If I can think of their name, I'll be back. Good luck on the restaurant/bar!
