im going to go ahead and do a tune up just to make sure thats the reason for it shifting at almost 4 rpms and smoke coming fromt he oil stick.
i want to get NGK spark plugs , which ones are the best for the v6 3800. i know theres irdium and others but i dont which ones are the right ones for a v6. and does anyone know what to gap them at. im ordering off line soo.

There was a service bulletin in 2003 from GM which stated the new recommended gap was O.O40.
NGK or AC Delco plugs will be fine.
will the gap be the same as for the 2000 models.
wat kind of NGK they make like diffrent ones?

Saw this late but i used to run NGK TR55's. GREAT plug, found out after buying Bosch platinum +4's which made the car run like crap.

yeah i went and ahead and ran the ngk platiums but thanks
