Bad idle for 98 TA

I have not paid a lot of attention to my 98 TA trouble codes for years since the car has run perfectly. But lately I have noticed a bad idle at times, low engine speed and shaking. My codes are about stuck output for right and left front O2 sensors. About 90 mv on the right and 900 mv on the left, never budging from that. At idle sometimes I have to bump the throttle up to stop the very rough idle. Does this sound like a possible sensor cause? FYI the data always shows it is in closed loop mode. I will post log files when I can.

My wife had her hip replacement 13 years ago. 2 days in hospital, ambulance to 14 days in a rehab.

There's a newer procedure called “anterior replacement“. Instead of working from the back, which does extensive damage to muscles and tendons, they work from a small incision in the front, able to spread the muscles/tendons and avoid damage. “They” say it will be same day surgery, wife drives me home afterwards (not sure I'll be able to squeeze into the little Prius - maybe I can get a van with a driver), a therapist comes to the house 3 or 4 times a week, for two weeks.

I'll be very happy if that's the case.
Wow...my Wife told me the exact same thing a week or two ago. Called outpatient hip or knee surgery. She doubts it would go that way for her again. Good to hear it for you. I got a little pain in my left hip after jumping up and down in sympathy ;-)
That passenger side O2 pre-cat is not fun to get to. I was trying to pull mine a few weeks ago, before I discovered my bank 2 cat was toast, but it's on there pretty good. Congrats on getting it off with just a standard wrench. I couldn't get enough clearance to put enough muscle into mine last time I tried to pull it, and I put it in with the fancy glass lube on it, IIRC.

I guess the 98 is a bit different from your 96. Maybe the engineers learned how to do it.
98-02 LS1 mounts, exhaust, etc. significantly different than 93-97 LT1.
My bad, been drinking and wrenching. Didn't notice the 98. Yeah, the 96 is in a tight spot. I know I've gotten it off a few times, but I don't remember exactly how. Certainly when I replaced the bank 1 cat. Probably with the starter removed and a lot more determination, although I vaguely remember getting after it from the top once. Maybe when the lube was still fresh?
