One of the worst secrets in East Coast concerts has finally been confirmed!

Moncton is first Canadian stop for AC/DC tour

Moncton, N.B. -- AC/DC will rock Magnetic Hill in Moncton. Promoter Donald K Donald confirms the concert will take place on Aug. 6.

The band's Black Ice world tour returns to North America this summer and Moncton will be the first Canadian stop. City official Ian Fowler says he doesn't expect the Thursday night date will keep the fans away. He's anticipating the crowd will top 60,000.

General admission tickets will be $99.50 plus tax and service charges - tickets go on sale next Friday.

Good luck Pete. Me and a bud tried to get tix when they came to Vancouver. Had 3 computers all trying ticketmaster, refreshing. 20 min later we got nowhere. Found out they sold out in 4 minutes!!!!!! How the HECK does that happen??? Then, only Tickets we could find were over $250 ea from scalpers..... I was soo mad

I got to see AC/DC on their first North American tour. It was in a small venue of less than 5000 people. The show was phenomenal.

AC/DC is confirmed to make a stop in Regina, Saskatchewan which is about 3 hours from me!!!! tickets go on sale next week and I'm going to do everything in my power to get my hands on a pair!!!! hopefully if it sells out in 4 minutes here ill be in the lucky 40,000 people!!!
