I bought a 93 firebird roller that I'm in the middle of rebuilding and I'm wondering what year 4l60e will work in it? Im going to a 95 pcm with a coveted 94 harness. I've looked at other kinds of auto transmissions and I want to stick with a 60 and I can't drive stick. Thoughts? TIA

If your going to use a 95 PCM & 94 engine/trans harness, you'll have to use a 95 4L60E trans. This is because your 95 PCM is set up to use a pulse width modified torque converter control. Or you could have 95 PCM reflashed with 94 data and use a 94 trans.

Your 93 came with a non electronic control 4L60, which is a 700R4 trans.
